- Detox 48hrs (ie turn the phone off during the weekend and/or after work)
- Leave your phone behind when leaving the house
- Leave the phone in a different room/floor from the one you are in
- Turn off 1h before bed & do not use until 1h after waking up.
- Delete the apps that invite to endless scrolling
- Have a ‘Phone station’ that you can check, but the phone won’t come with you
- Turn off notifications
- Put devices away when in the company of family & friends
- Use ‘do not disturb’ mode
- Set up limits on screen time
- Set up a timer for use/search, then move on to other tasks.
- Stay active (ie. outdoor activities)
- Keep screen devices out of the bedroom
- Use an analoge clock to wake up
- Family time, such as meals, is screen-free time
- Set up ‘greyscale’ on your phone
- Do not use your phone if you are laying down
- Use of different apps to lock app use after a certain time.
